IT'S ONLY WRITING...
IT’S ONLY WRITING is an approach to help writing teachers teach academic writing. Realizing that my degree in English had prepared me mostly to teach literature and creative writing, and dissatisfied with textbooks and rhetorical models that told students “what to” do (and what to write about) but not how to do it, I spent fifteen years developing a method of training my high school and college students to be fit, self-reliant academic writers using the practical, real world techniques and processes used by professional authors.
